UHL's Leadership- Our Story

The leadership of United Haitian Leaders is largely made up of individuals whose educational journeys began in Haiti. As students in the Haitian school system, they experienced firsthand both the transformative power of education and the challenges that many students face in accessing quality learning opportunities. After immigrating to the United States, they continued their education, building upon the foundation that was laid for them in Haiti. These experiences have given them a deep appreciation for the role that education plays in shaping lives and creating opportunities.

Because they have walked this path themselves, the leaders of United Haitian Leaders are passionate advocates for educational access and equity. They believe that every child, regardless of where they are born or the circumstances they face, deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and pursue their dreams. Through their work, they are committed to removing barriers to education and empowering young people with the knowledge, confidence, and resources they need to reach their fullest potential.
