United Haitian Leaders brings together Haitians and friends of Haiti through service, collaboration, education, and professional engagement to promote unity and to advance educational, social, and economic opportunities for Haitian communities regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, creed, education, or socioeconomic status.
Why has Haiti struggled for so long? Why have our leaders failed to sustain and strengthen our nation? Why have we not achieved the political, economic, social, and educational progress that our people deserve? How much longer will Haiti remain in this condition?
These are questions that weigh heavily on the hearts and minds of Haitians everywhere. Attempts to answer them often lead to blame, division, and endless debates about the failures of past and present leaders. Yet, if we are honest with ourselves, we must recognize that rebuilding Haiti is a responsibility that belongs to all of us. The future of our nation cannot rest solely in the hands of a few; it requires the commitment and participation of every Haitian, both at home and abroad.
The good news is that Haiti's story is not over. We still have the opportunity to restore our nation's dignity, strengthen its institutions, and create a brighter future for generations to come.
That is why I joined United Haitian Leaders, an organization whose mission is to unite the Haitian Diaspora and harness our collective talents, resources, and determination to advance Haiti's educational, economic, and social development.
Many charitable organizations have made invaluable contributions by providing food, shelter, medical assistance, and educational support to those in need. Their work is essential and worthy of praise. However, I remain convinced that lasting progress can only be achieved through unity. We must work together to address the root causes of corruption, injustice, and underdevelopment rather than merely treating their symptoms.
Let us put aside division and discord among ourselves. Let us move beyond simply talking about Haiti's problems and commit ourselves to becoming part of the solution through meaningful action.
I am committed to joining hands with my fellow Haitians throughout the diaspora to build a powerful and united force for positive change—one that inspires responsibility, leadership, and accountability for the benefit of our brothers and sisters in Haiti and around the world.
AN NOU SISPANN PALE, AN NOU FÈ AKSYON PITO!
Let us stop talking and start taking action.
